[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]6 thousand square meters of land welcome the snails of our breeding, on the slopes of the Gargano, among the enveloping and secular countryside of olive trees.
\nWe take care of them and raise them in the open field according to a method that provides for full respect for the biological cycle and guarantees their well-being.
\nBeets and cavalier cabbage are sown at the beginning of each spring to provide a rich and balanced diet.
\nTo these two vegetables, always present in the field, are added as a food supplement and according to the seasonal period the products of our garden, which complete and enrich their diet.
\nFurthermore, the sowing of the dwarf clover guarantees shelter from the sun’s rays and the formation of an optimal microclimate for the growth and reproduction of snails. The irrigation of the field takes place at dusk, so that the water, hit by strong sunlight, damages the vegetation and our snails, which are therefore free to “graze” all night.
\nFurthermore, no type of pesticides or pesticides are used in our breeding, but 100% natural fertilizers are used.
\nWhile our cats are at the forefront of ensuring protection from natural predators.
\nOnce maturity is reached, the snails are collected and selected to start the burr extraction process.
\nThe extraction is carried out by stimulating the animal, through a “manual massage”, the production of drool which, thanks to the care provided, is of excellent quality.
\nat the end of the extraction, the snails are returned to the field in order to complete their life cycle.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
